The FTS of Russia shared its experience in the development and implementation of digital services with the Cuban delegation, which is a part of the working group on the transformation of the Cuban economy. The delegation included representatives of research centers dealing with issues of public administration and economics.
Julia Shepeleva, Deputy Commissioner of the FTS of Russia, demonstrated to the Cuban colleagues the capabilities of the FTS digital services and automated tax administration systems. Aleksey Kasyanyuk, Head of the Desk Audit Directorate, presented the Analytical VAT Platform, which allows for controlling the size of the tax gap for VAT.
Representatives of the Operational Control Directorate of the FTS of Russia presented a cash register automated control system (the online cash registers system), a tax regime for self-employed citizens, and an automated simplified taxation system. Oya Gritskova, Head of the Interactive Services Directorate, explained the details of the operation of digital services and the data delivery platform.
Denis Kuzmichev, Head of the Taxpayers Registration Directorate of the FTS of Russia, described the unified register of small and medium enterprises. He also presented the State Online Business Registration service and noted that the use of an electronic signature and model charters significantly speeds up the registration procedure.
