Head of the Federal Tax Service
Mikhail Mishustin was born 3 March 1966 in Moscow.
In 1989 he graduated from the Moscow Machine Tool Institute (STANKIN), majoring in computer aided design, and in 1992 he completed his Ph.D. in Economics. 1995–1996: Deputy General Director and Chairman of the International Computer Club. August 1998: Mr. Mishustin was appointed Deputy Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service. March 1999 - March 2004: Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation on Taxes and Levies.
2004 – 2006: Head of the Federal Real Estate Cadastre Agency. January 2007 - March 2008: headed the Federal Agency for the Management of  Special Economic Zones. In March 2008, Mr Mishustin became President of the UFG (UFG Asset Management) group of companies – one of the largest companies working in Russia in the field of asset management, private equity, and (together with Deutsche Bank) domestic mutual funds.
Mr Mishustin has been Head of the Federal Tax Service since 6 April 2010.
